Daniel Afriyie Barnieh  born on 26th June, 2001, is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a attacking forward for Ghanaian Premier league side Accra Hearts of Oak . He is an Akan born in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He is a former student of Aduman Senior High School in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He played Galaxy United a division two club in 2016/2017. He also joined Rahimo FC, a top-flight Burkinabe club in January 2018 where he helped the club to win the Burkinabe premier league in the 2018/2019 season. He returned to Ghana and joined Thunder Bolt FC in the division two league and later moved to Madina Republicans. In December 2019, Afriyie was given a four-week trial at Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He failed to impress during the trials after being played out of position as an out-and-out striker but found it difficult to communicate it to the coach with fear of being dropped. John Mahama refuses to retract his "do or die" comment.

Former President John Mahama is fighting off claims that his recent comments may be a prediction of violence in the next general elections. Mr. Mahama says his utterance regarding a ‘do or die’ affair at polls in 2024 has been misconceived by the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP). During his ‘Thank You tour', John Mahama regurgitated this suspicion on Tuesday, September 7, that; “we were robbed, but we accepted the verdict for the sake of peace''. “But I want to state here that the next elections would be won or lost at the polling station So, at the polling station, it will be a do or die affair. I am not saying all die dies. I’m saying it will be ‘do or die’ because the right thing must be done,” he told a Techiman-based Akina FM.   2021 Ghana premier league champions, Accra Hearts of Oak SC is scheduled to play Club Industriel de Kamsar of Guinea in a single match encounter on September 19 at the Accra Sports Stadium with the winner of the tie set to progress to the successive stage of the 2021/22 Total Energies CAF Champions League. The Organising Committee of the Competition decided that the match which was slated to be played in Guinea this weekend will not take place given the political chaos in the nation. TIGER NUTS MILK (makes approx. 750ml) RECIPE 2 cups tiger nuts, 4 cups filtered water (plus extra for blending), ¼ tsp sea salt, 2 Tablespoon vanilla extract, honey or maple syrup for sweetness cinnamon or nutmeg for spice (optional) METHOD 1. The Origin of Ghana's Hearts of Oak Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, commonly referred to as Hearts of Oak or just Hearts, is a football club based in Accra, Ghana. The club was officially formed on 11th November, 1911 and was the second team to be founded in Accra after The Invincibles. It is the oldest existing club in Ghana today, and among the oldest clubs in the whole of the African continent. French Footballer Dies After Being in Coma Since 1982.

Former France footballer, Jean-Pierre Adams, who had been in a coma for 39 years, has died at the age of 73. Adams was admitted to the hospital for knee surgery in March 1982 but never regained consciousness after an error with his supply of anaesthetic. Born in Senegal, the defender made more than 140 appearances for Nice and also played for Paris St-Germain. In a statement, PSG said Adams’ “joie de vivre, charisma and experience commanded respect.’ Nice said the club would pay tribute to Adams – who won 22 caps for France between 1972-1976 – before their next home game against Monaco on 19 September. On the day of Adams’ operation to repair a damaged tendon in his knee – suffered while on a coaching training camp – many staff at the hospital in Lyon were on strike.
