Qatar 2022 World Cup Group Stages Held.


The FIFA World Cup is a competition contested by the senior men's national teams will be hosted by Asian giant, Qatar in the winter _the first of a kind since its inception.

The championship has been played and awarded every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930, with current champion, France, which won its second title at the 2018 tournament held in Russia.

The draw for the 2022 World Cup was held in Doha, Qatar, as the group stage for the qualified nations were announced. Twenty nine teams have been drawn-out, as two intercontinental play-off matches will be played in June 2022 to determine all the thirty two nations going for the fierce contest to battle it all out for the prestigeous trophy.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins on November 21st for the first ever winter edition of the competition  and the action runs through the final on December 18th.

Ghana is drawn against two time champions Uruguay whose forward Luis Suarez denied  the West African team of a semi final birthe  in the only contest held here on the African continent in 2010 at South Africa.

"Suspected" Cause of Former Kotoko defender Godfred Yeboah 'TV3' Death Revealed

The Ghana Football fraternity was hit by an unfortunate news earlier today with the death of the ex-Black Stars full-back Former Ghana and Asante Kotoko defender Godfred Yeboah popularly known as TV3 was confirmed dead on Tuesday morning after a short illness. Yeboah, 41, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the Sunyani Regional Hospital whiles on admission for abdominal pains. His former teammate at Asante Kotoko, Isaac Amoako narrated the cause of Yeboah's death in an interview with Kumasi based radio station Kessben FM.
