Morocco Reaches A Historic Semi_Final In Qatar World Cup
Africa's surviving representative in the ongoing FIFA World Cup held in Qatar played their quarter-final match versus Portugal in Al Thumama Stadium, Doha on Saturday, 10 December 2022.
The fiercely competitive game ended with Morocco making a historic appearance in the semi-finals of the World Cup with the lone goal scored by Youssef En_Nesyri from a towering headed goal in the 42nd minute.
This makes the "Atlas Lions" favorites in the semis having knocked out powerhouses in football history like Belgium, Canada, Spain, and Portugal. They now face defending champions, France, on Wednesday at Al Bayt stadium for a place in the grand finale.
