Comoros sends Ghana out of AFCON



The Ghana Black stars have been pipped from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament ongoing in Cameroon after a shocking 3-2 loss to tournament debutants Comoros in our final fixture on Tuesday evening.

Comoros startled Ghana with the first goal in the fourth minute and team captain, Andre Dede Ayew got sent off after going in hard on the Comoros goalie after a rebound. 

The Black Stars equalized in the second half but with 10 men, but Comoros had the advantage and scored a winner. 


This is the second time since 2006 the Black Stars has fallen out of the group stage.

"Suspected" Cause of Former Kotoko defender Godfred Yeboah 'TV3' Death Revealed

The Ghana Football fraternity was hit by an unfortunate news earlier today with the death of the ex-Black Stars full-back Former Ghana and Asante Kotoko defender Godfred Yeboah popularly known as TV3 was confirmed dead on Tuesday morning after a short illness. Yeboah, 41, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the Sunyani Regional Hospital whiles on admission for abdominal pains. His former teammate at Asante Kotoko, Isaac Amoako narrated the cause of Yeboah's death in an interview with Kumasi based radio station Kessben FM. "He [Godfred Yeboah] only complained abdominal pains somewhere last week. I was called three days ago that my friend has been rushed to the Sunyani Regional Hospital," "He wasn't ill for weeks or months...Godfred was energetic until he complained of abdominal pains on Sunday.
