DSL Wins 2021 TV3 Mentor


DSL (De Sound Lord) has emerged as the winner of Mentor X, the 2021 edition of TV3's Mentor reality show, and being the 10th edition, it was dubbed Mentor X.
DSL won the ultimate at the grand finale held at the National Theatre in Accra on Sunday, January 9, 2022

The Dancehall singer pipped rappers Kofidential and Wise B, and singers AJ and Ely to win a whopping GHC500,000 in prizes.


The final climaxed many weeks of action-packed performances from the 16 contestants which were whittled down to five.

DSL emerged as the ultimate taking a prize package worth GHC500,000. The package includes a brand new car, cash, promotional deals, and a record label contract with Richie Mensah's Lynx Entertainment.

The first had him performing with a mentor so as the other finalists. He featured Epixode and it was a sight to behold.


For his second performance for the day, DSL came out to sing his song titled Boyz Pe Cho and he got the whole auditorium on fire and singing along. Indeed Boys PÉ› Cho.

The judges on the show as usual were Reggie Rockstone, Richie Mensah, Adina Thembi, and Kwabena
Kwabena, all gave good remarks about the contestants. 


Kofidential (GengNoStress) was the first runner-up while the singer with a powerful voice in the contest, AJ  came the second runner-up. Ely and  Wise B took the fourth and fifth positions respectively.


Just like DSL, the other finalists took home handsome cash prizes as well as impressive deals from the promotion of their works.
